New teaching lab! Athena SWAN Meetings open to all STEMM academics and postgrads!

UEL successful in our HEFCE bid for a large 120 seater teaching lab in University House. The £1.2 million pound HEFCE funding of the new lab has been matched by £1.2 million from UEL. A sizeable commitment to STEM at UEL and of benefit to women in STEM here.

School of Health, Sport and Biosciences has a track record of successful teaching, outreach and scientific collaborations with Cass School of Education and Communities, School of Psychology and School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering. This long-anticipated new lab will be a major resource for Schools and Colleges outreach.

This will no doubt have a major impact on our student’s experience and increase UEL’s reputation with STEM employer’s and industries.
