The call for participation in Being Human 2019 is now open! As usual there are several ways to get involved in the festival through their Small Award, Hub Award and Open Call pathways. So if you have an idea for an engaging and creative public engagement event they want to hear from you. This year’s festival theme is ‘Discoveries & Secrets’, think Trojan horses to enigma machines, secret diaries to landing on the moon. More importantly they want to discover your fascinating humanities research so check out call details below.
Led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the British Academy, Being Human is the UK’s only national festival of the humanities.
In November each year the festival brings together universities, museums, galleries, archives, independent research organisations, community and commercial partners to make research in the humanities accessible to non-specialist audiences and demonstrate its relevance to our everyday lives.
