This one-day event brings together scholars
conducting research on elites and/or education
to initiate dialogues within and beyond the
field.
• We will assess the field’s current strengths
and weaknesses, gaps and silences;
• Identify some ways we might enrich its
future through critical reflection on existing
work and the deployment and/or development
of novel theoretical and methodological
resources;
• consider how studies of elites and
education potentially contribute to other fields
of educational and disciplinary inquiry.
