The BA/Leverhulme Small Research Grants are available to support primary research in the humanities and social sciences. These awards, up to £10,000 in value and tenable for up to 24 months, are provided to cover the cost of the expenses arising from a defined research project.
This year once again UEL will be limiting the number of bids we will submit to this call.
If you wish to be considered then please complete a GIF and send to reds@uel.ac.uk with the subject title as ‘BA/Leverhulme GIF bid’ by Thursday 22 April 2021 – this will be the sole document on which internal bids are assessed. Prospective proposals will be evaluated by Directors of Impact and Innovation, ReDS and Grantcraft using the same assessment criteria as the scheme ‘guidance notes for applicants’ so ensure that you complete your GIF with this in mind. Late GIFs will not be considered.
Candidates will be selected and informed of the results by the following week. All selected candidates will be offered support from Grantcraft.
The final submission to the BA/Leverhulme has a deadline of 2 June 2021 (5pm UK time). Before submitting your GIF you must ensure that if selected you will have enough time to complete the application by this date.
