The 2020 MSCA Individual Fellowships call is open for submissions. The call documents, including the Guide for Applicants, are available on the Funding and Tenders Opportunities Portal. The call deadline is 17:00 Brussels time (16:00 UK time) on 9 September 2020.
Individual Fellowships are aimed at researchers who already have a doctorate or equivalent research experience (more than 4 years full-time research experience). These fellowships are mutually beneficial: They offer a great opportunity for experienced researchers to develop their career opportunities through mobility. Additionally, they facilitate enhanced cooperation and stronger networks for the supervisor and the host institution.
The UK Research Office (UKRO), in its capacity as UK National Contact Point for the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), will be holding two virtual drop-in sessions for organisations and individuals interested in applying to this call. For more information including how to register please see the event page.
The MSCA IF is an extremely competitive funding call. In 2019 there were 9875 applications; of these just under 1500 were successful – a success rate of 15%. These are complex proposals to write well, requiring a multitude of inter-related arguments and justifications. Support from GrantCraft is available for UEL applicants. If you are interested in this call please contact reds@uel.ac.uk.
