Deadline for submission of proposals: 22nd July 2019
UKIERI will support about 10 Partnership Development Workshops from October 2019 till December 2020. These workshops will support development of research proposals and partnerships aimed at societal benefits and outcomes for the UK and India. UKIERI encourage collaborations between the Indian and UK higher education institutions to support work on new or existing research projects. Proposals aim to engage researchers and faculty in 6 thematic research themes:
- Cyber physical systems
- Water management
- Alternative energy
- Preventive healthcare
- Advance manufacturing
- Waste management and urban design
Funding up to GBP 20,000 will be awarded to run 3-5 day workshops. UKIERI is organising pre-call workshops between 10 – 19 June 2019 to help potential applicants understand the application process.
