BA/LEVERHULME SMALL RESEARCH GRANTS – INTERNAL DEADLINE FOR APPLICANTS (28th March 2019)

28th March 2019 (12pm)

UEL PROCEDURE AND TIMETABLE

The BA/Leverhulme Small Research Grants are available to support primary research in the humanities and social sciences. These awards, up to £10,000 in value and tenable for up to 24 months, are provided to cover the cost of the expenses arising from a defined research project.

This year once again UEL will be limiting the number of bids we will submit to this call.

If you wish to be considered then please complete a GIF (link below) and send to reds@uel.ac.uk with the subject title as ‘BA/Leverhulme GIF bid’ by midday on Thursday 28 March 2019 – this will be the sole document on which bids are assessed.  Prospective proposals will be evaluated by Directors of Research, ReDS and Grantcraft using the same assessment criteria as the scheme ‘guidance notes for applicants’ so ensure that you complete your GIF with this in mind.

Candidates will be selected and informed of the results by the following week. All selected candidates will be offered support from Grantcraft.

The final submission to the BA/Leverhulme has a deadline of 5 June 2019 (5pm UK time). Before submitting your GIF you must ensure that if selected you will have enough time to complete the application by this date.

GIF forms are available from https://uelac.sharepoint.com/ResearchInnovationandEnterprise/Pages/External-Funding.aspx
