The UK Research Office (UKRO), in its capacity as UK National Contact Point for the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), is holding an information event on the 2018 Individual Fellowships (IF) call for proposal, with the deadline of 12 September 2018.
Aim of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships
Individual Fellowships are aimed at individual fellows who already have a doctorate or equivalent research experience. They help experienced researchers to advance their careers and gain new skills through advanced training, international mobility, and optional intersectoral secondments. European Fellowships are held in Member States and are open to researchers either coming to Europe or moving within Europe. Global Fellowships are based on a secondment to a third country and a compulsory 12 month return phase in a Europe host organisation.
Aim of the event
The event aim to provide participants with an in-depth overview of the IF scheme. Participants should gain a clear understanding of the proposal format for each scheme and the key issues relating to planning, writing and submitting proposals.
The event at London South Bank University on 25 April will start at 11:30 and finish by 16:30 (with registration from 11:00). Further information on the venue will be provided to delegates once they have registered.
Please note that an additional Individual Fellowships event will take place on 16 May in Leeds, for which the registration is now open.
Thanks to support from London South Bank University, attendance is free of charge, but registration is mandatory. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Further information on the venue will be provided to delegates once they have registered. To register you have to be on the UKRO website – if you do not have access but wish to attend ask ReDS to help.
