The British Academy is preparing to migrate from the current e-GAP2 Grants Management System to Flexi-Grant. Flexi-Grant will come online from 1 August 2017 and will provide a modern, user friendly platform with improved features for grant applicants. We expect that new users will be able to register from 9 August 2017.
The application approval process will remain essentially unchanged after implementation. However, one important difference worth noting is the process for submitting references:
In the past, self-nominated references have been requested after approval had been given. In the new system, referees must provide their references before an application can be submitted for approval.
The deadlines within each scheme for submission and approval will be adjusted to accommodate these changes.
Additionally, all currently active e-GAP2 accounts will be migrated to Flexi-Grant from 1 August 2017.
