Inspiring the Future – A new campaign which aims to encourage more scientists into schools to talk about their careers and introduce female role models working in science

‘How can you help?  The main aim of the campaign is to encourage women with a job that uses science in any guise, to volunteer just one hour a year in a local primary school to talk about their career and role and ignite the spark in the next generation of scientists. Anything you can do within your networks to encourage this, will help us all inspire more young female scientists

This might include:

  • Featuring the programme in your newsletter, if you have one, or linking through to [www.inspiringthefuture.org] from your website
  • Encouraging your colleagues to sign up
  • Following @L’OrealUKI and retweeting our content
  • Tweeting about the programme’
