The European Commission has published a draft programme for the upcoming 2021 European Research and Innovation Days.
The third annual edition of the R&I Days will take place online on 23 and 24 June through a series of interactive sessions ranging from high-level plenaries to immersive panel discussions. The event will mark the start of Horizon Europe and will include topics such as the post-COVID-19 recovery, the European Research Area, digitalisation and the European Green Deal.
The draft programme includes, among other sessions:
- Day 1: Horizon Europe Missions, European Partnerships, COVID-19 (lessons learned), European strategy for universities; and
- Day 2: European Research Area (ERA), a global approach to R&I, a clean and healthy planet for all, digitization and a green future.
